BBC continues its appalling smearing of Amanda Knox (whom Peter Klevius aquitted 2009) who was for years imprisoned for murder despite being totally innocent.
US student Amanda Knox was notoriously PC tried (twice), convicted (twice) and acquitted (twice) in Italy for the murder of Meredith Kercher, from south London. She was also convicted of slander for blaming the murder on local bar owner Patrick Lumumba during an allegedly brutal police interrogation, but that conviction was quashed and a retrial ordered. However, she said the police coerced her into implicating Lumumba. "The police threatened me with 30 years in prison, an officer slapped me three times saying 'Remember, remember'. A court in Florence reconvicted Amanda Knox for slander, years after she was acquitted of murdering her UK roommate Meredith Kercher in 2007. She avoided prison as she had already served four years for the murder, for which she was originally innocently convicted after a flawed investigation and PC prosecution.
